Licensed Health Insurance Agent

Born in Ponce, Puerto Rico, Norma Iris Martinez moved to Florida just a few months after birth. She later returned to Puerto Rico, living in both Humacao and Villalba. After graduating from high school in Villalba, she returned to Florida to pursue her education and earned her certification as a Medical Assistant in 2000.

With over 20 years of experience in the healthcare field, Norma has developed a deep passion for serving others. Her career includes time as a Community Health Worker with Sanitas Medical, where she focused on supporting seniors through wellness activities and connecting them with vital local resources such as food assistance, utility support, and social engagement opportunities.

In 2022, Norma became a licensed health insurance agent. She now brings together her clinical background and insurance expertise to help individuals—especially seniors—understand their Medicare options and make informed, confident decisions about their health coverage.

Outside of work, Norma leads an active and vibrant life. She enjoys participating in 5K races, riding jet skis and four-wheelers, spending time at the beach or river, traveling, and sharing quality time with her family.
